Wu Gaolin mentioned: At that time, when the relationship between China and the United States had just loosened, Academician Yang Zhenning was the first Chinese scientist to return to China for a visit, making a great contribution to the talent exchange between the academic communities of China and the United States. At the same time, he also participated in the construction of China's first nuclear power plant, which is of great significance to our country. In addition, he also sorted out China's physics education, allowing us to have a deeper understanding of the world. Academician Yang Zhenning actively promoted cultural exchanges between China and the United States, and The mutual understanding between the Chinese and American people has made significant contributions to promoting the establishment of diplomatic relations, talent exchange, and scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries
We firmly believe that the Outstanding Contribution Award between the United States and China will bring great inspiration to the workers who love peace and friendship between China and the United States. It will also inspire more insightful individuals to actively promote mutual understanding, exchange, and cooperation between the two sides, and make more and greater contributions to the economic and social development of China and the United States!
