Press Release of the 5th US-China Outstanding Contribution Award Presentation Ceremony

On September 14, 2019, the “The 5th US-China Outstanding Contribution Awards Ceremony and the 40th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between China and the United States” hosted by the US-China Business Association will be held in Sias College, Zhengzhou, China. On the first day after the Mid-Autumn Festival, China and the United States, hundreds of Chinese and American guests and distinguished representatives in exchanges and cooperation in the fields of diplomacy, finance, commerce, culture, art, media and technology will be present at the celebration.

The Fifth US-China Outstanding Contribution Award Ceremony and 40th Anniversary of the Sino-US Diplomatic Relation sponsored by the Carter Center, the US-China Business Association, Henan People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries will be held at SIAS International University in Zhengzhou, China on September 14th, 2019. On this first day of blooming flowers and full moon after Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival, we gather together to celebrate this important occasion. Hundreds of distinguished guests from China and the US will attend the event. Representatives of bi-lateral exchanges and cooperation in the fields of diplomacy, finance, commerce, arts and culture, media, science & technology.

After nearly two years of nomination, evaluation, screening and review of the US-China Outstanding Contribution Award candidates, we honored the winners of the 5th US-China Outstanding Contribution Award: Dr. Yang Zhenning, a famous scientist at the Carter Center in the United States. Cao Dewang, Chairman of Fuyao Glass Group, Flow Pharma Biotech, Silicon Valley, USA, and well-known independent curator Jia Tingfeng. They have made great contributions to enhancing Sino-US understanding and friendship and promoting business and cultural exchanges in their respective fields.After nearly two years of research, nomination, evaluation and confirmation, we proudly release the list of honorable award winners of the Fifth US-China Outstanding Contribution Award. They are the Carter Center in Atlanta GA, Prof. Yang Zhenning, Cho Tak Wong, The Chinese business leader, Flow Pharma In. and Jia Tingfeng, independent curator of Chinese art. They have, in their respective fields of business, made tremendous contributions to enhance the bilateral understanding and friendship, promote business and cultural exchanges between the two countries.

The US-China Business Association is a non-profit organization in the United States, established on the initiative of influential political and business people in the United States and China. The “US-China Outstanding Contribution Award” was established in 2010. It is convened by people of insight who are concerned about Sino-US friendship and the common development of the two countries and are supervised and implemented by the US-China Business Association. Under the principle of fairness and justice. Outstanding person selection and recognition activities. The nomination, selection, evaluation and approval of the winners of the “US-China Outstanding Contribution Award” are not affected by any government, political parties, groups, media and public opinion. The “US-China Outstanding Contribution Award” was awarded to promote Sino-US friendship and understanding, and promote business, cultural and artistic exchanges and cooperation.

The US-China Business Association is a non-profit organization registered in the United States of America. It was established at the initiatives of prominent Sino-US political and business leaders. The US China Outstanding Contribution Award is an initiative of prominent and visionary Chinese And Americans who support bilateral friendship and efforts to promote peaceful co-existence and development. The award is administered and supervised by the US-China Business Association in a fair and just setting to recognize the distinctive figures from both countries. The US-China Outstanding Contribution Award is free from the influence of governments, political parties, organizations, media or public opinions in its process of nomination, selection, voting and confirmation. The award ceremony plays a positive role in enhancing the friendship and bilateral exchanges, promoting cooperation, trade , investment and development between China and the United States.

Among the five awards and awards in the past ten years, the outstanding individuals who won the awards in China and the United States include President Carter, President Bush, Dr. Kissinger, Dr. Brzezinski, Shepherd’s Children’s Village, Jackie Chan, Yao Ming, and Egypt. Long Musk, Huang Yongyu, etc., they made an unbeatable contribution to promoting Sino-US understanding and friendship. The US-China Business Association warmly welcomes people from all walks of life to come to the awards ceremony, let us meet in Zhengzhou, and spend the full moon in the fall season in September.

It has been almost 10 eventful years and five ceremonies since the creation of the US-China Outstanding Contribution Award. The award winners include two former US presidents: President Jimmy Carter and President George HW Bush, a former US Secretary of State and two National Security Advisors: Henry Kissinger and Zbigniev Brzezinski, and prominent figures from other walks of life: Jackie Chan, Morris Greenberg, Elon Musk, Huang Yongyu, Yao Ming and so on.
